Veronica Mars Spinoff Play It Again, Dick Gets Teaser Trailer, Release Date

CW Seed, the digital-streaming arm of The CW, have released a teaser trailer for the forthcoming Veronica Mars meta-spinoff Play It Again, Dick, which will debut next week.

The series, which follows the fictional exploits of the real-life cast of Veronica Mars in their quest to create a spinoff series for Dick Casablancas following the success of the Veronica Mars movie, has dual narratives: the series itself starring the cast of Veronica Mars and then the show-within-a-show, also starring those characters but now reprising their roles as their Veronica Mars characters.

Seeking to capitalize off the heat from the VERONICA MARS movie, actor Ryan Hansen sets out to write, direct, produce, and star in a spin-off for his beloved character, Dick Casablancas. Now all he has to do is convince Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Ken Marino, and the rest of the cast to come along for the ride. PLAY IT AGAIN, DICK is created and executive produced by Rob Thomas (VERONICA MARS and iZOMBIE).
