Lavalantula Movie Pits '80s Stars Against Fire-Spewing Giant Spiders

'80s star Stephen Guttenberg will lead a cast that includes his Police Academy castmated Linda Easterbrook and Michael Winslow against massive, fire-breathing, lava-spewing tarantulas in Syfy's next big creature feature Lavalantula, EW reports.

The film will be directed by Big Ass Spider! filmmaker Mike Mendes and also co-stars Nia Peeples and L.A. DJ Ralph Garman, who is a frequent guest and co-host on Kevin Smith's podcasts.
