Jeremy Renner Signed On For Seven Marvel Studios Movies?

Speaking to MTV about his new film Kill the Messenger, Jeremy Renner may have revealed how many films he has signed on to play Hawkeye in.

While recounting the career path that led him to becoming an action movie star, Renner go to the part where he joins the Avengers and said:

"When you're having an Avengers conversation, you're talking about signing up for like seven movies. That's just how they do things."

It's possible that Renner just reached for an estimate, based on what his and other Marvel Studios stars' contracts look like, but it's entirely possible that seven films is exactly how many he's signed on for as well.

His first appearance was in Thor, though it was a brief one. He's appeared in The Avengers and finished filming for Avengers: Age of Ultron as well. He's also strongly hinted that he will appear in in Captain America 3, and is expected to return for Avengers 3. That's six films, leaving one left on his contract if seven is an accurate number.
