Every Star Wars On Screen Death Super Cut In Under 3 Minutes

Well, George Lucas certainly had a penchant for death, didn't he?

A new YouTube humor video certainly thinks so. In a less than three minute super-cut of the first Star Wars trilogy, the video tallies 2,005,645,868 deaths. Not surprisingly, about two billion of those deaths come from the planet Alderaan, which the Death Star vaporized in A New Hope. The other couple million comes from the Death Star's eventual destruction, and all those poor Storm Troopers caught inside.

The video's estimates aren't completely arbitrary, either. They sourced many of their tallies from The Stars Wiki, starwars.wikia.com. While it's not a direct quote from George Lucas, it adds some validity to the video.
