Arrow Begins Filming "Midnight City" Today

The eleventh episode of Arrow's third season started filming today and, according to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, the episode is titled "Midnight City."

Written by Wendy Mericle and Green Arrow comics co-writer Ben Sokolowski, "Midnight City" will be directed by Nick Copus, who directed last year's episode "Streets of Fire," and according to IMDb, the tenth episode of The Flash, which filmed in October.

It's perhaps worth noting that Sokolowski recently reintroduced Dr. Mid-Nite to the New 52, and that the comics have been tracking suspiciousl close to the TV series ever since Sokolowski and showrunner Andrew Kreisberg took over writing Green Arrow. So that word "midnight" in the title could be read in a couple of ways.

Arrow airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
