Mark Ruffalo Turns 47 Years Old Today

Mark Ruffalo is the third actor to play The Incredible Hulk on the big screen. When Ruffalo was first cast, many fans were concerned that Marvel Studios was once again changing the actor behind Bruce Banner. However, Ruffalo quickly won fans over with an amazing performance as the character in The Avengers.

Ruffalo made a brief appearance as Bruce Banner in Iron Man 3, and he is set to return as the Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will be released in  movie theaters on May 1, 2015. Even though many fans have been clamoring for it, Marvel Studios has yet to announce a Hulk solo movie featuring Ruffalo, preferring to play it cautious after two previous Hulk movies (with different actors) didn't live up to expectations.

In addition to the Avengers movies, other notable movies starring Ruffalo include The Kids Are All Right, Shutter Island, and Now You See Me.

Mark Ruffalo was born on November 22, 1967 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He turns 47 years old today.
