It just wouldn't be a Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens trailer teaser without George Lucas's signature. At least that was the idea behind this trailer parody.

Michael Shanks (not the one from Stargate) of Late Night films has recreated the trailer in George Lucas's Special Edition style that he's become (in) famous for.

The Episode Teaser Trailer was released on Friday. To date has received over 21.5 million views.

Episode VII is set approximately 30 years after the defeat of the Empire and the demise of Darth Vader, the story follows a trio of young protagonists, along with characters from the previous installments.

Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford will also reprise their respective roles as Luke Skywalker, Leia and Han Solo. The cast will also feature new players including Andy Serkis, Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong'o.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: Episode VII opens December 18, 2015.
