For any Zack Snyder wannabes out there, there are apparently three steps to take when following the director's footsteps:

Rule #1: You need to have barechested women.

Rule #2: You need physically perfect men murdering dozens of people.

Rule #3: You need tons of CGI scenery that can be easily destroyed.

Those golden rules come from Cinema Sins, which delivered a total takedown on Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel's director. Cinema Sins is a YouTube series that deconstructs the flaws and oversights made in blockbuster films, including those made by Snyder.

But in this particular video, the makers give their sole attention to Snyder, calling out many of the director's tropes, habits, and stylistic preferences. Naturally, the makers pick the low hanging fruit of Snyder's filmmaking habits, like slow motion action scenes, gore, and desaturated colors. None of Snyder's films were spared either, as Cinemas Sins mocked 300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch, and more.

Whether the narrator is accurate or not in his criticisms is up to you, but they make a compelling (though one-sided) argument. Cinemas Sins will have to get used to the Snyder's quirks however, as Warner Bros. has tapped the director to helm Batman Vs. Superman and the two-part Justice League film.

You can check out the video below.

Snyder's next film, Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, hits theaters on March 25th, 2016.
