With 11 films to go before the first Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters, Marvel has much to explore in its cinematic universe. With Wakanda, the mystic realms, a civil war, and more to unearth, the studio will have plenty  to immerse themselves in between now and 2019.

But amid all these opportunities, Marvel must realize what's really on the table--All those Stan Lee cameos. Seriously. A staple of every Marvel film, Stan Lee's scenes are some of the studio's most memorable. Indeed, no Marvel movie is complete until Stan shows up, eliciting laughs from a quarter of the audience. With more chances for another Lee appearance than one could stuff into an Infinity Gauntlet, we fantasycast the future Stan Lee cameos that would make us go "Excelsior!"

Ant-Man

Cameo: Darren Cross' Test Subject

Ant-Man's Corey Stoll recently revealed that his character Darren Cross would experiment with Hank Pym's shrinking technology in a bid to militarize it. And as with any cutting-edge comic book device, you have to test the dangerous prototypes before taking it to market. We'd love to see Stan step up as one of Cross' unfortunate test-subjects, but only if the experiment goes comically wrong. Maybe the suit could backfire and enlarge Stan's stature, sneaking a Giant Man reference in at the same time.

Black Panther

Black Panther's nation of Wakanda hides in the African plains, camouflaged from the rest of society. But in its centuries of existence, the country's deep cover must a experience a hiccup or two. If, or when, that moment occurs in Black Panther, Stan needs to be present as a stereotypical safari tourist. Seeing Stan in a lame safari outfit with a big camera would be priceless—just like those photos of Wakanda that he'd take.

Captain America: Civil War

civil-warCameo: Hopelessly Naive Police Officer

When the superhuman registration act inevitably passes in Captain America: Civil War, Cap and his outlawed brethren will most likely go underground. But crime being what it is, never rests, and will draw the illegal superheroes out in the open. As Cap and his crew make their way to their intended target, they should stumble across an unsuspecting patrolman who's horribly unprepared for what he just stepped into. As Lee's naive officer fumbles with his gun and stammers that they're all under arrest, we're sure Cap's Secret Avengers could think of a few colorful ways to subdue him.

Doctor Strange

Doctor-Strange-Movie-Logo-OfficialCameo: Stephen Strange's Annoying Patient

Before Stephen Strange became a master of the mystic arts, he was a brilliant, if short-fused surgeon. Since Dr. Strange is practically guaranteed to be an origin story, we're sure that the film's opening hour will see Stephen Strange working his day job at a hospital. Cue annoying patient Stan Lee, who could test Strange's short patience with his naive medical questions, ignorant persistence, and ill-placed sore that just needs to be examined.

Guardians of The Galaxy 2

guardians-of-the-galaxy-2Cameo: A Ravager

Sure, Stan already appeared in James Gunn's story as a geriatric playboy, but such hang-ups could technically be applied for every cameo in the connected Marvel Cinematic Universe. With that out of the way, we want to see Stan ride with the Ravagers in his next galactic adventure. So far, all of his cameos depict him a plain old human. That's been nice, but it's time to shake it up by making Stan scummy alien.  As long as he kept those giveaway wide-rimmed glasses on, Stan's transformation would only be limited by the makeup team's imaginations. Who's up for a purple Stan Lee?

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Cameo: Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's Father

If only.
