Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.doesn't return until March, but it's never too early to start thinking about what might be coming in the second half of Season 2.

Season 2 has already provided answers to mean of the lingering questions left over from Season 1, but opened the door to plenty more. Here are the five things we most want to see in the second half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.Season 2.

Supervillains

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.has really found its footing in Season 2 by embracing a more spy oriented tone, and not trying to be a Marvel movie for the small screen. That said, the only super-powered villain we've really seen this season is Absorbing Man in the season opener. We don't want the show to revert back to its supervillain of the week format from early in Season 1, but one or two for a change of pace wouldn't be bad. While the show has tied up many of the first season's loose ends, Blizzard and Graviton are still out there somewhere, right?

Hawkeye

Again, we don't want Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.to turn into Cameo Fest 2015, the show truly is better for having learned to stand on its own two feet, but we'd love to see at least some kind of acknowledgement of the romance between Hawkeye and Mockingbird from the comic books. Even if Lance Hunter is filling Clint Barton's romantic shoes in the MCU, it would be great to see Hawkeye make an appearance and put some closure on that potential romance, one way or the other.

Agent Hartley

Lucy Lawless was great in her turn as Agent Isabelle Hartley, but that performance was unfortunately cut short. We're not necessarily advocating for a resurrection – do that too much, and death loses its sting – but there was clearly something going on between Hartley, Mack, and Bobbi Morse. If this little conspiracy could be explained via flashback, thus allowing Lawless to return to the role for at least one more episode, we'd be pretty okay with that.

An Inhuman Introduction

While they haven't actually said the word yet, it seems pretty clear that Agent Skye/Daisy Johnson and Raina are Inhumans. We also got a glimpse at a character who seems a lot like the Inhuman Reader. Hopefully Reader's presence means we finally learn a bit about the role and history of the Inhumans in the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ant-Man 7

Scott Lang

As one of Marvel's more grounded heroes, Scott Lang would make a good fit for an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.appearance, one that could help hype the Ant-Man movie. It seems clear from the trailer that Lang won't become Ant-Man until the events of the film take, so maybe we could get to know average convict Scott Lang before all of that goes down.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns to ABC March 3.
