Gotham's Robin Lord Taylor Talks Gotham's Renewal and The Penguin's Rise

During an interview with KTLA this morning, Gotham standout Robin Lord Taylor discussed the show's recent renewal, some of his favorite things about the gig and his feelings about previous iterations of The Penguin.

"This is my far the most high-profile thing I've ever been a part of," said Taylor, who had a guest stint on The Walking Dead, TV's biggest show, last season running into this one.

He shared a clip from tonight's episode, saying that Gordon is one of only two people that The Penguin trusts in Gotham and that he wants to be his friend.

He also praised the performance of Burgess Meredith, who played the character on the 1966 Batman TV show.
