"We are worried," Pine joked to MTV at the Sundance Film Festival.  to while plugging his new movie  He quipped that Star Trek 3 could contain "vast, vast Simon Pegg monologues" now that he has the power to shape the script however he sees fit.

When Pine was done joking around he revealed that Pegg has communicate with everyone since the news came out, and stressed that providing chuckles in their Star Trek films is important. "Yeah, he sent an e-mail to all of us, and we're all really excited," Pine said. "What we enjoy about it is that we have a laugh. We want to make sure that that's still embedded in there, so to have Simon writing it is the perfect fit."
