It's by now a fairly well-circulated piece of trivia that Gotham standout Robin Lord Taylor played Sam, a survivor in the fourth season of AMC's The Walking Dead who recurred in the season premiere this year, only to be murdered at Terminus.

The actor, currently enjoying critical acclaim as Oswald Cobblepot, better known as The Penguin, on Gotham, will rejoin members of The Walking Dead's cast on AMC's Talking Dead tonight following The Walking Dead, and while few recognized him when he was a guest star on The Walking Dead, he's now beloved enough to qualify as their celebrity guest.

"It's so surreal," Taylor told ComicBook.com in an interview, the full text of which will run tomorrow. "Everything has been a complete ride. The Walking Dead, that was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. That the cast would be into it enough to have me back to Talking Dead, I mean, it's amazing. It's unbelievable."

Talking Dead airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC following The Walking DeadGotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
