It appears that Arrow star Stephen Amell has ambitions that extend far beyond the confines of the DC Universe. Like, say, hosting the sketch-comedy show Saturday Night Live.

In a recent appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Amell, who plays Oliver Queen/Arrow on the CW show, revealed that it is his personal dream to host an episode of Saturday Night Live. We were kind of hoping it would be leading the Justice League of America, but hosting an iconic comedy program isn't a bad second place.

You can check out Amell's full chat with Meyers below, where he also discusses all the fun he didn't have at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. Amell's SNL ambitions are at the 2:15 mark.

Would you like to see Amell host Saturday Night Live? Sound off in the comments below. If Jeremy Renner's (Hawkeye) guest-spot from a few years back is any indication, Amell's appearance would hopefully open the doors to a few DC or Arrow based sketches.
