Jessica Chastain Joins The Huntsman Cast; Nick Frost Will Return

Deadline is reporting that Zero Dark Thirty and The Help star Jessica Chastain has joined the cast of The Huntsman. No details were given about who Chastain will be playing in the film.

At the end of January, Deadline said Nick Frost ("Hot Fuzz"), who played a dwarf in the first movie, would not be reprising his role, but that isn't the case any longer. Universal was able to renegotiate with Frost and he will be back for The Huntsman.

The film will be directed by VFX wizard Cedric Nicolas-Troyan and star Chris Hemsworth ("Thor"), Charlize Theron ("Cider House Rules") and Emily Blunt ("Edge of Tomorrow").

The sequel sends the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) on a quest to find the magic mirror (which has been stolen), forcing him to face not only his past but the evil Snow Queen who's set on avenging her sister Ravenna's death. Charlize Theron will return as the villainous Ravenna and Blunt is making a deal to play her sister, the evil Snow Queen. - The Wrap

The Huntsman will land in theaters April 22, 2016.
