Margot Robbie's big break came in 2013's The Wolf Of Wall Street. The Australian actress was so good in it that it put her that rare position where she didn't have to audition for everyone role she wanted, like Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad.

"I actually got offered this one, I didn't audition, which is a real step up as an actor when you can get offered things," Robbie told MTV's Josh Horowitz.

Robbie says Harley Quinn will share a lot of scenes with Deadshot and because he is going to be played by her Focus co-star Will Smith they didn't need to do "chemistry reads." Harley will also spend time on screen with her maniacal boyfriend The Joker, and there too Robbie has a rapport with Jared Leto.

And the end of the interview, Robbie discusses the tone director David Ayer is aiming for. "I think on a scale of like, 'Dark Knight' is here and 'Avengers' is here, I think it's more on the 'Dark Knight' side of things," Robbie said.

Filming for Suicide Squad is expected to begin in April. It will arrive in theaters Aug. 5, 2016.
