Digital Spy spoke with Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb, who chatted about the second half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season two, Agent Carter's UK premiere and the crossover potential of the upcoming Netflix television shows.

The latter had me most intrigued as he reiterated that those Netflix characters, like Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist will all be in the same universe as their other television and film characters but made a point of saying they need to earn their crossovers. "Look, it all exists in the same universe," Loeb told Digital Spy. "As it is now, in the same way that our films started out as self-contained and then by the time we got to The Avengers, it became more practical for Captain America to do a little crossover into Thor 2 and for Bruce Banner to appear at the end of Iron Man 3.

"We have to earn that. The audience needs to understand who all of these characters are and what the world is before you then start co-mingling in terms of where it's going."

Marvel won't dictate the scheduling of the Netflix shows as they have always relied on the networks input on those matters. "We just try to tell the best stories that we can and we leave programming to the networks, which is what they do best," Loeb explained. "All I can say is that it's been a great experience with everybody and that I can't wait for people to see these new shows."

Daredevil debuts on Netflix, April 10th.
