Guardians Of The Galaxy: Knowhere VFX Breakdown

Framestore, is a visual effects company that worked on  James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy and has now released a VFX reel showcasing their digital contributions to the scenes on the mining colony known as Knowhere. More specifically, the chase scene with the industrial space-pods that Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) flew around in as they battled Ronan's forces.

We built Knowhere, our most complicated environment to date, for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and then staged a dog-fight that explored every inch of it. Here we've linked up all our shots in the 4-mile wide and 1.2 billion polygon world. - Framestore
