Star Wars: Battlefront To Debut At Star Wars Celebration

Star Wars: Battlefront will debut at Star Wars Celebration in April.

The news has been rumored for days, but EA officially confirmed it in a post on their Star Wars page.

We're thrilled to share that Star Wars Battlefront will be taking part in Star Wars™ Celebration next month in Anaheim, CA from April 16-19. We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it. A trailer for the game was previously released at E3 2014, with promises of more details coming in Spring 2015. It seems that EA is following through on that promise.

Star Wars: Battlefront is created by DICE, the same developers of EA's popular Battlefield franchise. The game allows player to join the ranks of the Rebel Alliance or Imperial Army, battling on planets from the Star Wars saga as they rise to prominence.

Star Wars Celebration takes place April 16-19.
