The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - VFX Behind A Digital Spidey

Sony Imageworks provided visual effects on Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and now they have released a new video detailing the "Animated Character Shot Build."

Director Marc Webb requested that the physiques of Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) remained grounded in reality. Imageworks kept that in mind, always making sure they accounted for gravity while Spidey was swinging through New York City, while also trying to incorporate famous poses that the character is known for in the comic books.

Next Spider-Man film will arrive July 28, 2017. Rumor has it that Drew Goddard ("Cabin In The Woods") will direct and it will be titled The Spectacular Spider-Man.
