Halo 5: Guardians Teaser Released

On tonight's episode of The Walking Dead, fans of the massively popular Halo franchise got their first glimpse at the game's next installment , Halo 5.

Promoted with the hashtag #HuntTheTruth, it looks like this new chapter in the major Halo story might look to answer the question that has been on fan's minds since the beginning, "Who is Master Chief?"

Fans who saw the ad were pointed to a website that has general information about the games release, but also a Serial-esque podcast featuring a gentleman who seeks to uncover the greatest Halo mystery of all time.

The gentleman in question is someone by the name of Benjamin Giraud who is running the Hunt The Truth tumblr blog.

Here is his bio:

I'm a journalist and war photographer. I've seen the absolute worst of humanity and I've also seen the best. A few months ago, I was hired to do an in-depth profile on the Chief. Join me as I hunt the truth.

Not much else is known about the game at this point in time but this also marks the franchise's first formal entry into the marketplace without  Bungie, the developer behind the previous games.
