After last night's season finale of The Walking Dead, the show followed the Marvel Studios method of story teasing. It's not the first time they've done so. After the credits, viewers were treated to an additional two scenes. At first glance, the scenes may seem unimportant, but in truth, they may have some big significance in terms of what's in store from season 6. Spoilers follow if you have not seen The Walking Dead season finale and it's post credits sequences.

Mich1

First, Michonne walked into her Alexandria living room. She placed her Katana blade above the mantle after Pete took it, with plans of killing Rick, and killed Deanna's husband Reg. After some thought, though, she holsters the sword and wears it on her back.

Mich2

What's the significance? Michonne and other members of the group have been worried that they were losing their survival instincts and habits since arriving at the Alexandria Safe-Zone. Michonne has been the biggest advocate for the community amongst Rick's group since arriving. Now, it's apparent that the community will be ready to fight and protect themselves, which may be even more important considering the second half of the post credits.

Wolf1

The man in the red apron who was killed by the two "Wolves" turned into a walker and stumbled around the parking lot with the trailers full of zombies. He walked past an abandoned car that had spray paint on it reading the ominous phrase we've seen before in the destroyed community of Shirewilt Estates, "Wolves Not Far."

Wolf2

Showrunner Scott Gimple said that the show will reinvent itself every 8 episodes. The second half of season 5 has been about the group arriving and meshing with the community at the Alexandria Safe-Zone. The start of season 6 will likely revolve around the community learning to protect itself and doing so against the Wolves.

In season 6, we'll probably see a lot more of the Wolves, who they are and how many there are. It's safe to assume that it is a group of more than two considering how large their herd of walkers is and the damage they did to Shirewilt Estates. If there was only two men, the Shirewilt community would have most likely been able to defend itself.

It's going to be a long, long off-season until season six, but we'll do our best to bring you every bit of Walking Dead news and information as we can!

What do you think is the deal with the Wolves? Any predictions for season 6 or are you just looking forward to the L.A. companion series, Fear The Walking Dead?
