The seventh episode of  "Bloodline" begins with Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) reflecting on the interviews between the detective and his siblings after Sarah died. This time, we see a section of young Kevin's interview, which supported John and Robert's car accident tale. Danny pours his remaining pain pills down the drain, and makes breakfast for Sally (Sissy Spacek). She gives him a much-discussed raise, and he adds his latest check to a collection in the glove compartment of his truck.

John (Kyle Chandler) tells Diana (Jacinda Barrett) about the interviews, still feeling bad about his decision to lie so many years ago. He feels even worse, considering the fact that he could have been the one on the boat with Sarah instead of Danny.

Meanwhile, Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) wakes up on his boat to the sound of Chelsea's (Chloë Sevigny) cell phone ringing after the two of them have spent the night together. They agree to keep the incidence just between the two of them, but Eric (Jamie McShane) notices Kevin dropping her off. She tells Eric that she's not going to tell Danny anything, since he made it clear that he doesn't care about her. Meanwhile, Kevin applies for a loan to buy the shipyard.

Danny does more "gasoline" work with Eric, explaining that he needs to be making more money, whatever it takes. Eric tells Danny about Kevin and Chelsea later, and Danny seems to be much less upset about it than Eric ever was. Danny has "bigger things to worry about." He continues to work with Eric on the gas projects in addition to working at the hotel, mailing his many checks somewhere mysterious.

Meg (Linda Cardellini) questions a witness from the bar where her client Carlos committed his assault. The witness claims not to have known the victim at all, but based on his phone records, Meg figures out that he is dating the victim's sister.

John and Marco find and rough up one of the men who was previously put away for trafficking, but whom they think might be related to the burned bodies case. He's on probation, and John uses that leverage to find out who's currently running the biggest trafficking ring. However, the man claims to have never torched one of his own boats.

Time passes, and everything seems to go smoothly throughout the entire family. In one scene, Danny has dinner with John's wife and kids, where Danny tells the kids about a time when he stole a shirt for John so he could have a fresh, new shirt for a date with Diana. John's daughter Jane (Taylor Rouviere) goes on a date afterwards, and Danny's very protective of her.

Carlos meets with Meg back at the hotel in the morning. She tells him that she thinks his case is going to work out for the best. Sally passes by and tells Carlos that she'd like to sign a character affidavit to help out.

Danny and Meg talk about Carlos later that day, and Danny reveals that Robert previously fired him. She adds that Sally also gave Carlos some extra money to help out with bail, which seems to annoy Danny.

John and Marco drive to the farm where the parolee directed them. They ask to speak with the workers. At first, the owner refuses, until they threaten to return with higher-ups and a search warrant. None of the workers respond to their photos of the burned girls, but one of them writes "el buen vecino" or "the good neighbor" on the back of the photos.

Meg reviews Kevin's loan request and thinks that it will work out, as long as it works out before Belle files for divorce – though she advises against it. He adds that he's okay with cutting Danny back into the will, if the others agree to it.

Afterwards, Kevin tells Danny about his night with Chelsea and adds that he and Belle are getting divorced. Danny says it's totally fine and they agree to "no hard feelings." However – Danny goes to Chelsea's afterwards to talk with her. All he finds is Eric, who says they're work gigs are over.

John heads to the Del Buen Vecino Church, but no one will give him any answers. He doesn't get answers from anyone but does find a "missing" poster with one of the girls on a message board.

Eric meets with a guy that night to get the last of the money, and Danny follows – then following Eric's guy back to a bait shop. He meets with the leader of the operation, Wayne (Glenn Morshower), and tells him that he might be able to help prevent their work from being shut down.

Then, Danny goes back to Chelsea's, where he apologizes to her. Meanwhile, a man breaks into Kevin's office, beating him to the ground with a baseball bat, breaking a window, and then stealing all of his cash. Danny tells Chelsea that she and Eric are the closest he has to family. The man who stole from Kevin is revealed to be Eric.

Danny drives away, listening to the tape of young Kevin backing up the fake story about the car accident.
