First Suicide Squad Cast Photo Released

The cast of David Ayer's Suicide Squad are all in Toronto now, and took their first cast photo together at a table read for the upcoming DC Comics adaptation.

They're expected to start filming any day now, with most of the cast having already been in Toronto at least once before now to prepare for their parts.

Notably absent in the photo, which was tweeted out by Ayer, is Jared Leto, who will play The Joker in the film.

Ayer will direct the film, which stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Hernandez as (we assume) El Diablo, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis will play Amanda Waller. Ed Harris, Jackie Earle Haley and Joe Manganiello are rumored to appear as well.

Suicide Squad is expected to start shooting this month for a release on August 5, 2016.
