The Hollywood Reporter has posted a great article detailing the changes that are occurring at Sony Pictures Entertainment now that studio chief Amy Pascal was replaced with Tom Rothman.

Rothman was once the studio chief for 20th Century Fox, who is known for being very hands on with his films. Supposedly, he is trying to be more mellow and less of a micromanager, but he has already tinkered with the budget of Paul Feig's female-led Ghostbusters.

Pascal gave the film a $169M budget, but Rothman shaved off $15M to get it closer to his target of $150M.

The budget is a bit higher than you would expect because Sony shelled out quite a bit to the talent. Melissa McCarthy will receive $14M and Feig will earn at least $10M for his efforts.

Paul Feig's Ghostbusters is due in theaters July 22, 2016. The cast includes: Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
