On Tuesday, Warner Brothers hosted their CinemaCon event, The Big Picture. It was a star-studded evening. Talented actors and actresses such as Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Henry Cavill, Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Sofia Vergara, and Reese Witherspoon were all on hand to endorse their respective films.

Among the 17 titles shown off during The Big Picture, Creed was among them. Stars Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan and director Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station) presented the first look at footage from the film.

Sylvester Stallone prefaced the presentation by giving a few details about the film. He insisted that while he is playing the character of Rocky Balboa, "this is not Rocky VII." In fact, it is a story why Rocky trains Adonis Creed, son of his fellow boxing alumni, Apollo Creed.

The footage opens up with Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed in a room with white brick walls. He turns and begins punching the wall with impressive boxing discipline before heading down the hallway as the sound of a crowd begins to roar.

The footage is set in Philadelphia, where Rocky takes place. Adonis goes to Rocky's gym and admires photos on the wall. When Rocky approaches him, Adonis talks about a photo where Rocky punches Apollo. When Rocky wonders how Adonis knows about that particular fight, Adonis informs him that Apollo was his father. "Your daddy died in the ring," Rocky responds.

Ultimately, Adonis asks Rocky to train him. He wants to be a boxer. Shots of Adonis' life splice for the next few seconds and it's clear he becomes obsessed with being the best boxer he can be as he even practices his moves at work.

Adonis is then seen running down Philadelphia streets in slow motion with a pack of dirt bikes and quads trailing behind him. In the gym, Rocky has Adonis look in the mirror with his hands taped up. He explains that Adonis' toughest opponent will always be himself, then asks to see what he's got.

Creed hits theaters November 25, 2015.
