Robert Downey Jr. could give Tony Stark a few lessons on how to throw a party.

In honor of his fiftieth birthday in early April, Downey Jr. threw the ultimate bash by renting out an entire airplane hangar. In what was probably the closest real-life approximation to hosting a party in Avengers tower, Downey Jr. went all-out with musical performances by Steely Dan and Durand Durand.
