This weekend, Wizard World hosted it's inaugural Las Vegas comic con.

Ribbon

On Friday, Ferrigno and Sorbo joined Wizard World CEO, John Macaluso and the official Ambassador of Tourism for Las Vegas (and former mayor), Oscar Goodman, for the ribbon cutting to kick off the weekend. The convention had dozens of celebrities, comic writers & artists, and professional cosplayers on hand to celebrate comic book culture over the weekend.

Six cast members from The Walking Dead appeared - Emily Kinney (Beth), David Morrissey (The Governor), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Michael Rooker (Merle), Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel) and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham). Although some of these actors' characters have been dead on the series for a while now, nothing stopped fans from lining up for autographs, photos, and to share quick stories with their favorite cast members.

More special guests included Robert Englund, James Marsters, Tom Mison, Kevin Conroy, and WWE stars Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose.

Hard to find merchandise from Attack On Titan, LOST, and Game Of Thrones was easy to find for attendees as vendors from around the country set up booths marketing their rare commodities. Cosplayers showed off their hard work and some attendees even took part in Sci-Fi Speed Dating, a fun event targeting singles at each Wizard World comic convention. Fans of all ages gathered for Super Smash Bros. tournaments on one end of the Las Vegas Convention Center, while others sat in on panels attended panels and Q&A's.

ComicBook.com was in attendance for Friday and Saturday, witnessing all the fun first hand. We even had a chance to speak with stars such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s BJ BrittBoondock Saints' Sean Patrick Flanery, the Incredible Hulk - Lou FerrignoHercules: The Legendary Journeys star Kevin Sorbo, David Della Rocco, Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Rooker, and one Sgt. Abraham Ford - Michael Cudlitz.
