Avengers: Age of Ultron makes up 95% of Fandago's ticket sales for the coming weekend, selling out hundreds of showings across the country.

"The Fandango presales are looking heroic, due to an unprecedented level of anticipation for this summer's first blockbuster and more fans buying their tickets in advance," says Fandango Chief Correspondent Dave Karger in a press release. "Age of Ultron is a robust follow-up to one of the highest-grossing movies ever released, and it comes with sensational buzz for its new characters and returning favorites. The result is a rare 100 Fanticipation score and what could be the biggest opening weekend of all time."

In fairness, that high percentage is at least partly due to other studios decided to just get out of the way. Avengers: Age of Ultron is opening to practically zero competition from other new box office releases.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens May 1. Here's some more stats gathered by Fandango in a survey:

96% are already looking forward to seeing the "Avengers: Infinity War" movies;

88% will see the movie on opening weekend;

74% identify themselves as fans of director Joss Whedon;

36% picked Ultron (James Spader) as the new-to-"Avengers" character they're most looking forward to seeing; 21% picked Vision (Paul Bettany); 20% picked Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and 17% picked Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).
