Star Wars Episode VIII Will Film At Pinewood Studios

British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne has officially announced that Star Wars Episode VIII will film at Pinewood Studios in London.

Episode VIII will follow Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which also filmed at Pinewood Studios, and Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One, which begins filming at Pinewood this summer.

As the second film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Episode VII will continue the story after the events of The Force Awakens. The film is being written and directed by Rian Johnson.

Star Wars Episode VIII is schedule for release on May 26, 2017.
