Star Trek fandom has reached the final frontier.

That's because the world's only officially-licensed Star Trek building, designed after the USS Enterprise, is boldly going where no other piece of architecture has gone before. Commissioned by NetDragon Websoft, a China-based gaming and mobile Internet compan, this building probably makes going to work the highlight of several people's day.

The building sprang from the mind of NetDragon Websoft's Chairman Liu Dejian, a reported Star Trek aficionado. After licensing the rights from CBS to construct the building, it took six years (2008-2014) and $160 million to make. And from the sound of it, the interior is just as cool as the exterior. Inside awaits a replica of a T-Rex, 30-foot metal slides, and automatic sliding gates. Really, all it's missing is a giant penny (though we suppose that might breach too many franchises).

Readers, do you think this Star Trek building is out of this world? Which iteration of the Enterprise do you think is most closely resembles? Let us know in the comments below.
