Before James Gunn takes on Guardians of the Galaxy 2, his script for The Belko Experiment (yes, now with a "K") will be brought to the big screen by director Greg McLean.

This week, Gunn announced two new cast members to his project: John C. McGinley and Melonie Diaz. McGinley is best known for his role as Dr. Perry Cox on Scrubs, but has starred in several projects in recent years including 42 and Alex Cross. According to Gunn's announcement, he'll play Wendell Dukes, a top executive from the Belko Corporation.

Diaz broke out in her role (as highlighted by Gunn's Facebook post) in 2013's Fruitvale Station. Gunn says she'll be playing Dany Wilkins in a leading role. The two actors join John Gallagher and Tony Goldwyn in the incomplete cast. Gunn teases that more announcements will be coming from his Facebook page.

The Belko Experiment finds a group of 83 American expatriates who work in a building in Sao Paulo, Brazil. They are trapped in their workplace when a voice emits over the speaker system, forcing them through a series of murderous moral decisions. No release date has been selected.
