Star Trek actress Nichelle Nichols suffered from a mild stroke on June 3.
Nichols, who played Uhura in Star Trek: The Original Series from 1966 to 1969, experienced the mild stroke while in her Los Angeles home. According to Nichols' official statement, written by Galactic Productions, LLC, she is undergoing testing to determine the stroke's severity.
