When Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man screen-tested for Captain America: Civil War a while back, the super-quippy duo weren't just shooting the breeze.

As it turns out, Marvel Studios wrote a special "mini script" for Holland and Downey, Jr. when they put Holland through their casting gauntlet. According to Marvel Studios Head Kevin Feige, the script was a combination of original material and bits from Captain America: Civil War's actual script. Think of it as Marvel Universe alphabet soup.

As Feige told Collider, the test was "a combination, it was mainly written for the screen test though. Which is what we usually do."

According to Feige, the script had altered names, in case it ever leaked online. But even with the doctored dialogue, Feige confirmed that Holland and Downey, Jr. could bounce each of their characters' quippy banter off of each other—even if we won't see that vernal magic in full until post-Captain America: Civil War movies.

What do you think Holland and Downey Jr. could have discussed? The chemical makeup of web fluid? Girls? We're sure Mr. Stark could impart some wisdom in that department to the young Peter Parker.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 5, 2016. And want to know when Spider-Man will swing into theaters next? Check out ComicBook.com's official comic book movie release schedule!
