Sherlock Special First Look Video Released

The BBC has released a trailer for the Sherlock Special.

The Special will be the first time fans have seen Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Dr. John Watson since the conclusion of Sherlock Series 3, but they'll be seeing them in a very different way. The standalone episode takes the characters away from their modern reimagining and back to their Victorian roots.

No exact release date for the Sherlock Special was announced. The BBC and PBS have only said it's "Coming soon-ish." Speculation is that the special will air on or around Christmas 2015.

Filming on Sherlock Series is set to begin sometime in 2016.
