SDCC is the craziest weekend of the year in terms for comic related news and announcements. We can't blame you if you just want to curl up in a ball and cry whenever you log into Twitter or visit ComicBook.com and see all the announcements just streaming in. When will zombies appear on my television?

AMC released trailers for both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead on Friday and announced air dates for both of their comic series' premieres. Fear the Walking Dead will premiere on August 23rd at 9 PM, while The Walking Dead will premiere on October 11th. Both trailers hinted at some of the plotlines that would unfold on both shows. The Walking Dead's trailer hinted at a tense showdown between Rick and Morgan, while Fear the Walking Dead showed its cast oblivious to the beginning of the zombie apocalypse that was about to unfold. Who's playing the big bad on Arrow this season?

News broke that Neal McDonough will join the cast of Arrow this season as Damien Darhk, a friend turned foe of the deceased Ra's al Ghul and possible leader of HIVE. He played Dum Dum Dugan in Captain America and Agent Carter, voiced Green Arrow in an animated short that appeared on the Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD and voiced Deadshot in the recent Batman: Assault on Arkham animated movie. McDonough has a history of playing villains on TV, and we're excited to see what sort of danger he'll put Oliver and his friends in next season.

Instead, JJ Abrams showed some Behind the Scenes footage from the upcoming movie, which hinted at lots of new costumes, scenes and aliens. Harrison Ford also appeared at the Star Wars panel, his first public appearance since his plane crash a few months ago. For those looking for an update on the film, Abrams revealed that a cut of The Force Awakens was complete and that Abrams and Lucasfilm were editing the movie before its release this December. He also hinted that a new trailer for the movie would air this fall.

The publisher also announced an upcoming Robin Wars crossover arc, which will take place over several series including Grayson, We Are Robin and Gotham Academy. Speaking of crossovers, Geoff Johns announced that he'll be writing six Justice League: Gods and Men one-shots that will tie into his current Darkseid War in Justice League.
