Supernatural's Jared Padalecki Writes Thank You Letter To Fans For Comic Con Tribute

Supernatural star Jared Padalecki is thanking fans for the stunning show of support they gave him during the Supernatural panel as Comic-Con International: San Diego.

Padalecki recently began speaking publicly about his personal battle with depression, and has joined forces with non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms to launch his own Always Keep Fighting support campaign for others struggling with the same illness.

At the end of the Hall H panel, more 6,000 fans surprised Padalecki by lighting Always Keep Fighting candles. The vigil was meant to show support for Padalecki's struggles, just as he has tried to do for others, and brought tears to the actor's eyes (via E!)

Today, Padalecki took to Facebook to share a heartfelt thank you letter to those fans.

From the very bottom of my heart and my soul, thank you so much.

I will never forget this day. I will never forget the love that I felt, and still feel.

And, to everybody who held a light for me, please know that I hold my light for you.

Though I happened to be the one sitting on stage, I am but one small light in a see of thousands. TOGETHER, we can and will make a difference!

Supernatural will return for Season 11 on The CW in October.
