It's definitely a good year to be a Star Wars fan.

Obviously with The Force Awakens coming out this December and Star Wars Battlefront coming out in November are big enough news by themselves, but this addition gives fans more reason to be excited.

StarWars.com has your first look at the first six movies will be released as commemorative Blu-ray steelbooks for a limited time on November 10, with pre-orders beginning on August 7. Each film comes with beautiful packaging that includes Darth Maul for The Phantom Menace, Yoda for Attack of the Clones, General Grievous for Revenge of the Sith, Darth Vader for A New Hope, an Imperial stormtrooper for The Empire Strikes Back, and Emperor Palpatine for Return of the Jedi. Star Wars: The Complete Saga will also be released in newly-repackaged artwork on October 13.

Each disc contains audio commentary that already exists with George Lucas, but also contains archival footage and interviews from the cast and crew.

Since the likeness right deals of Han, Leia, and Luke aren't closed yet, they went with villains for the covers. Though, I would have gone with a snowtrooper for "Empire".

So readers, how many sets of the Star Wars trilogy do you already have? Are planning on picking this one up?
