Groot's Origin In Latest Clip Fom Guardians Of The Galaxy Animated Series

Marvel Entertainment has released a new clip from Disney XD's Guardians of the Galaxy animated series.

In this sneak peek, we see Groot, as a mere sapling, training to fight with an adult Groot, that we assume is his father. After some "I am Groot" back-and-forth, the adult Groot shows the youngster that they came from one singel seed, the World Pod.

Guardians of the Galaxy the animated series premieres Sept. 26 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Disney XD, with two back-to-back episodes. A sneak preview of the first episode will air Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
