Hugh Jackman In Negotiations For The Odyssey Movie

If you're wondering what Hugh Jackman is going to be up to once he's done playing Wolverine, it sounds like he may be embarking on a very long trip.

Variety reports that Jackman is in negotiations to star in Liongate's film adaptation of Homer's epic poem, The Odyssey.

Francis Lawrence, director of the final three Hunger Games movies, has signed on to direct the film. His deal is said to cover multiple films.

Peter Craig, writer of both Mockingjay films in The Hunger Games franchise, is writing the script.

The Odyssey, composed by Homer in the 8th century B.C.E., follows the hero Odysseus on his many adventures during his journey home from the Trojan war.
