Jared Leto To Present The Weekend's MTV Video Music Award Performance

This weekend when, err, The Weekend appears at the MTV Video Music Awards to play "Can't Feel My Face," he'll be introduced by Suicide Squad star and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto.

Leto announced as much via his official Twitter account today:

This will be his first big appearance post-Suicide Squad and the first time he's been seen in public for quite a while without The Joker's trademark green hair.

MTV had confirmed The Weekend's performance back on August 4, after actor Tom Cruise revealed the plans on Twitter. He had just performed the song in a Lip Sync Battle on The Tonight Show, and took to Twitter to say, "I had a blast on @JimmyFallon doing #CantFeelMyFace. Wait till you see the real @TheWeeknd perform it at the @MTV #VMAs on Aug 30."

The 2015 VMAs will air on Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
