Cosmo & Baby Groot Featured In New Clips From Guardians Of The Galaxy The Animated Series

Marvel has released 2 more clips from their upcoming animated Guardians of the Galaxy series.

In the first clip, the group is under attack and Groot tries to convince Rocket to use his stash of explosives to turn the tide in their favor. "I am Groot," the humanoid plant pleads. Woah, that's a pretty convincing argument from Groot and Rocket thinks so too. So Rocket decides to toss his explosives -- arming one of them before doing so -- at their attacker and blows it to smithereens!

In the second clip, Rocket, who is seen carrying Baby Groot in a small flower pot, gets spooked and chased by Cosmo, a telepathic Russian space dog.

Guardians of the Galaxy the animated series premieres Sept. 26 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Disney XD, with two back-to-back episodes. A sneak preview of the first episode will air Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
