Following a recent report that the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge helped fund high-risk, high-reward reserach that led go new findings that could eventually lead to curing the disease, the viral "slacktivism" sensation is back, with actor Hugh Jackman apologizing for coming to the party late...but bringing the style.

Of course, he really isn't late at all -- he did it last year with his Hook co-stars. Still, this year he's got his hair back -- and a tux, minus the jacket -- making him more recognizably Jackman than last time.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge helps to raise money and awareness for ALS charities. Those who are challenged but elect not to participate are expected to make a financial donation to such an organization, although most celebrities do so whether or not they dump ice water on their heads.

It's estimated that the 2014 Ice Bucket Challenge generated more than $200 million in global donations.
