Brad Meltzer Throws Out the First Pitch And Has A Lightsaber Duel With The Marlins Mascot at Mets Game

Author, comic book writer and TV host Brad Meltzer threw out the first pitch at a New York Mets/Miami Marlins game this week -- and it turned into a full-on lightsaber battle with the Marlins macot.

Yes, really.

It was Star Wars Night at the ballpark on Friday, and Meltzer -- noted nerd and Star Wars fanboy -- was tapped in honor of his children's book I Am Jackie Robinson, with illustrations by famed comics artist and letterer Chris Eliopoulos.
