New Star Wars R2-D2 Jet Revealed

Starting on October 18, Japanese airliner All Nippon Airways will start flying jets painted like R2-D2, the company announced.

You can see a promotional video from ANA below.

The planes, repainted Boeing 787 "Dreamliners," aren't the only Star Wars planes in the fleet; there's also BB-8 and generic Star Wars aircraft.

2015 Scheduled Flight Routes can be seen below, along with a gallery of images of the jet:

October 18:
Haneda = Vancouver
Mid-October to Late-November:
principal destination Narita = San Jose
Early-December:
principal destination Narita = Seattle
Mid-December and beyond:
Haneda = Sydney, Haneda = Jakarta, Haneda = Beijing,
Haneda = Munich, Haneda = Paris, and other destinations
