Grant Gustin turned heads on Fox's Glee, but it wasn't until The CW Television Network's The Flash that he became the breakout star he is today. Though, a humble Gustin is quick to give the credit for his and the show's success to the series creators.

"Yeah it's really cool. DC has kind of taken over CW right now, which is really cool. Their doing these characters justice, I think," Gustin says in the interview. "I'll say it again-and-again-and-again, but Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns and Andrew Kreisberg are the three perfect guys to be doing this. Just because they're so passionate about this genre and these characters."

Listen to Gustin's comments in the video below.

Picking up months after the Singularity attacked Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is still struggling to forgive himself for Eddie's death. Concerned about putting his friends in danger, Barry has pushed everyone away and has chosen to protect the city on his own. When a meta-human named Atom Smasher (guest star Adam Copeland) attacks the city, Iris (Candice Patton) tells Barry that he needs to let his friends help him protect the citizens of Central City. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) helps Joe (Jesse L. Martin) with his Meta Task Force.

An unstoppable force is coming. The Flash season 2 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 6!
