According to sources for Collider, Walt Disney Studios is finally getting an Enchanted sequel moving in the right direction and the title of it will be, Disenchanted. Uh-Oh! Sounds like more trouble for Giselle.

2007's Enchanted was directed by Kevin Lima and starred Amy Adams, James Marsden, Patrick Dempsey, Susan Sarandon and Idina Menzel (the voice of Elsa from Frozen). It earned $340.5M at the worldwide box office and received three Best Original Song nominations at the 80th Academy Awards for Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz's "Happy Working Song," "So Close" and "That's How You Know."

Disney began planning a sequel in 2010, hiring Jessie Nelson to write the screenplay and Anne Fletcher (The Proposal) to direct, but nothing came of it. Then in July of 2014, Disney brought in J. David Stem and David N. Weiss to pen a need script and kept Fletcher attached to helm it, which Collider's sources confirm is still the plan. Original cast members are expected to return, but nothing has been made official.

A fairy tale comes to life in this thoroughly original, new Disney Classic. Drawing inspiration from its classic heritage, Disney creates an inspired story unlike any you've experienced before. Filled with excitement, fun, and incredible music from the legendary Alan Menken, ENCHANTED is the ultimate fish-out-of-water adventure. For princess-to-be Giselle, life is a fairy tale -- until she's banished from the animated land of Andalasia and thrust into the very unmagical, live-action world of modern-day Manhattan. When a cynical, no-nonsense divorce lawyer comes to her aid, little does he realize that this joyful, wide-eyed innocent is about to enchant him. ENCHANTED -- the musical comedy that will have your entire family under its spell.
