The episode begins in the Arctic Circle. The "lightbender" Malina is walking along, but there's a second set of footprints. An invisible woman tells her to focus and that she "must learn to harness it." She's unsure she can be ready.

Odessa, TX: Noah Bennett and Quentin Frady steal a pickup truck.

The car they should have had, meanwhile, has Luke and Joanne Collins in it. Joanne is happily enjoying the pile of files about Evos that they accidentally took. She sees a couple that they already killed – Luke isn't interested in reminiscing. "We need this," Joanne insists. He goes to change the radio station, and a spark seems to jump between him and the car. The car stops and won't start back up, and they agree to walk. "You know how hot it's going to get out here?" Joanne says, and Luke says he's "burning up already."

Tokyo, Japan, at the Yamagato Tower, we see a replay of Miko's fight scene with the guards in the lobby. She's fairly easily handling them, her skills from Evernow translating into the real world. That is, until a man named Harris (with "(Prime)" next to his name at introduction) comes onto the scene. Harris easily defeats Miko one-on-one, and tells her, "this is not your sword," taking her and the sword away.

Taylor, her TK boyfriend, and Molly Walker are at a small airport in NJ. Francis the boyfriend is "not cleared for flight," so Molly and Taylor go alone. Molly tells them they don't know what they're doing, and they tranquilize Molly.

Back in Yamagato Tower, we meet Erica Kravid, CEO of Renautus Group. "If we had to rely on anyone else, how would anything get done?" She holds a pair of goggles and says that "tomorrow we unveil Epic," the product that somehow uses Molly Walker's power. Harris comes in as she gives their mission statement, "Doing good is good business." It seems that may be ironic. Harris reveals that Miko's sword is actually Hiro Nakamura's sword and that she claims to be Otomo's daughter. "How can that be?" Erica asks.

In East LA, Carlos takes one of the dirty cops' pictures off his now-deceased brother's conspiracy board. While he's closing the shop, his nephew Jose asks him why he's not doing their work. He tells him he has errands to run and that everything will be better soon.

Yamagato Tower, Ren arrives. He enters the lobby and sees Miko's carnage. He sees Erica and Harris walking, with Miko's sword. Harris gives the sword to her, and she tells him to get answers from her. Ren steals a key card and heads upstairs into the tower to look for Miko.

Odessa: HRG and Quentin have stopped at a hospital to get his gunshot wound. He goes in, and a doctor recognizes Noah. He says he last saw him on June 13th last year, then calls security, but HRG is gone.

Carlos is tracking the dirty cop in East LA. He follows him to a warehouse where two others are torturing a girl for information about the underground railroad for Evos. The cop he was tracking pushes her out the window, and she flies away (they put a tracker on her). Carlos makes some noise and they chase after him, shooting. The priest grabs Carlos and turns to mist form, hiding him.

Yamagato Tower, and Miko is sitting on the conference table making paper dragons. She says she got the sword from her father, and Harris is trying to find out how she appeared in the lobby. Ren continues to move towards Miko.

Back in Odessa, Quentin comes out of the room patched up, and can't find HRG. He sees security guards talking literally about "a man in horned rim glasses." HRG finds one security guard and makes him take him to a camera room to review footage of the last time he was there.

A diner plays host to the Collinses. She's reveling in their journey of bloodletting, while he's reminiscing about their son. "Why are we still doing this? Why don't we just go home?" She continues to revel and look at the files. He says they should go to LA and see the Ocean; their son loved the water. He goes to cut his steak, and as it's cutting, it cooks from rare to well before his eyes. He starts shaking. Hmm.

Odessa, and HRG and the security guard are looking at the footage from the day of the attack. They see him going through the hospital, and talking to someone. When he gets to the morgue, the timestamp starts jumping around a bunch, and he immediately thinks it must have something to do with Hiro Nakamura (he's all over this episode!). A shot of him looking at the dead body on the slab shows just a blonde girl. Is it Claire? Is she dead? Hmm… Quentin gets there and says they need to go. The last thing Noah sees on the security footage is he and Molly Walker leaving the hospital together.

Noah and Quentin take off in their stolen pickup, and discuss how impossible it is that Claire died in that hospital. HRG is convinced that finding Molly is the only way to fill in the blanks in his memory. They're off to find her.

Speak of the devil, Molly wakes up on the plane next to Taylor. She tells her that Renautus, like Primatech before them, tortures people with powers, trying to study them. She warns Taylor that her boyfriend is either dead or being tortured, "trying to figure out how to turn his powers into a frickin app. You got him killed.'

Yamagato Tower, and Harris has had enough. He asks about Miko, if she has her father's power, or "is just his best work." Something happened to him, and she doesn't remember. He takes out knives to torture her, but Ren runs in and Miko gets the upper hand – literally. She chops off Harris's hand and runs away with Ren. As they leave, Harris's hand grows back – and a second Harris (Clone) grows from the severed one.

Ren and Miko leave the tower, and he shows her the picture he took of Erica. They decide to go to Midian in America to find her, and the sword.

After stealing another car, the Collins couple comes to a motel. He's not looking well. She goes to check in, and he stumbles away, as his hands begin to glow. "Why is this happening to me?"

Carbondale, Illinois, it's finally time to check in on Tommy! Huzzah! His mom catches him doing pushups and gives him crap, "what's her name?" They get into an argument about him going out to a party. Tommy tells his mom about the texts he's getting from a mystery person, and tells her he's going out. He touches and teleports himself into the hallway behind her, and leaves.

Over at the party, Tommy is the hit – because he stole a bunch of beer. Emily is unimpressed, as Brad is using Tommy's powers for his own glory.

Midian, Colorado and the Renautus HQ. "Epic Launch Preview." Harris and Erica walk in, and she asks about Molly Walker. Still in her party dress, Molly gets dragged in by Taylor and two goons. As the door shuts, Quentin and HRG slide in under the closing garage.

Taylor tries to call her boyfriend and gets voicemail. She leaves into a room, and Noah and Quentin stop the goons, and see Molly. She recognizes him, and says she won't go anywhere with him. He's honest about the memory wipe and needing her. She says, "there's too much at risk, you shouldn't have come." She runs off and gets caught by Harris.

Back to the party, Tommy offers to walk Emily home. The penny guy is sitting outside watching them. Tommy's mom holds a gun to his head – they know each other. He says they've all promised to watch him, and he'll be needed soon. She tells him to leave them alone. She yells at Tommy to get in the car.

East LA: the girl and her group of Evos are hidden, and the dirty cop has followed the tracker. Carlos, as El Vengador, gets inside first and tells them to leave, that the priest will help them. The cop comes in waving a gun, and Carlos takes him out – or thinks he does. It seems dirty cop might have powers, too? He's a little too strong and a little too fast. Yeah, he's powered, and kicking Carlos's ass. Carlos escapes with his life, barely.

Wyoming, Molly is being strapped to a table and "commencing integration sequence." In the Arctic Circle, one of the Harris's is there. Back in Wyoming, Taylor meets Erica – and calls her mom. Ah-ha. In the back, Molly is in horrible pain. HRG is watching the presentation now from the side of the stage as Erica goes for the big reveal. They plug something into Molly and she is "the processor." They're able to scan anywhere in the world and use Molly's power to take down any Evos anywhere. Harris Arctic Circle gives out EPIC goggles and they're on the hunt. Erica reveals she found one unregistered Evo right in the Renautus presentation, and has him taken out.

Arctic Circle, Malina and the invisible woman "need to keep moving." Indeed, invisible woman, indeed.

HRG says they need to destroy the tech and free Molly.

Back to Carbondale, Tommy and his mom are in the car, and he doesn't want to leave. She's freaking out. They get in a car accident as she violently drives away, and the episode ends as they flip over in the car, having just been T-boned.
