EXCLUSIVE: Chandler Riggs Would Love Carl To Lose His Eye On The Walking Dead

During an interview on The Walking Dead's red carpet for Season Six, actor Chandler Riggs talked about this enthusiasm for th comic book storyline in which his character, Carl Grimes, loses an eye.

"It would be so cool!" Riggs told us. "It would be really cool; I'd love that to happen, it would be awesome."

Riggs, the show's resident teen heartthrob, said that he has already been on the receiving end of the show's rabid "shipping" fan base.

"Ever since Enid shows up, they've been shipping Carl and Enid," he said when we asked him if he thought it was coming soon. Apparently we older folks just aren't paying enough attention to what the kids are doing these days.

The Walking Dead returns tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
