Ever look at promos for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and think to yourself, "Self, I wonder what this would look like in the style of the old serials from the forties?" Well, you're in luck, as New York Magazine has put out the "Batman v Superman circa 1949 Vulture Remix."

The video presents a simpler Batman V Superman, one in black and white with animated special effects (just like the old Superman serials), with sensationalistic headline style captions and a Superman who goes insane. You won't see buildings blowing up or massive explosions here, just some good old-fashioned black and white beatdowns. Check out the video above for the unique take, and hit up New York Magazine's Youtube page for more of the "Vulture Remixes."

The real Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill and directed by Zack Snyder is in theaters March 25, 2016. See where that falls on our complete comic book movie release schedule here.
